Our mission at TRI State Paws-Abilities Service Dogs LLC is to provide a highly trained and qualified service dog free, or at a minimal cost to persons with disabilities or impairments.

How Much Does a Service Dog Cost?, And How You Can Help?

Many may not know how expensive the cost of a qualified service dog can be. There are many things that factor into the cost of a service dog , which can range from the basics: food, housing, veterinary care, grooming and equipment. There is also the time spent caring for them, socializing and training hours spent. Many of our service dog candidates will excel and move forward to be come part of a working partnership to provide needed services to their human handlers, which also requires hours of socialization and training for both dog and human handler supported by our staff and trainers. What about the dogs that don't pass and become a service dog, we still support those dogs and spend time and money to care for them while we find loving long term homes. That being said we need your donations to help provide these services to approved clientele at no cost. Please click on the donation button below.
